1. Who we are
Gatherly (gatherly.co.za) is a Cape Town–based directory of event spaces available for hire. We connect people who have spaces with people who need them. We are not a booking platform, payment processor, or party to any hire agreement between a space owner and an event organiser.
2. Using the directory
You may browse, search, and share listings freely. You must not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute listing content without permission. You must not use Gatherly to send unsolicited marketing to space owners or event planners.
3. Submitting a listing
By submitting a space you confirm that you are authorised to offer it for hire and that the information you provide is accurate. You grant Gatherly a non-exclusive licence to publish your submission (text, photos, contact details) on the directory. We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion. Listings are free.
4. Hire agreements
Gatherly is a directory only. We do not facilitate bookings, process payments, or hold deposits. Any hire arrangement you enter into is strictly between you and the space owner. We are not responsible for the condition of any space, disputes, cancellations, or losses arising from arrangements made through the directory.
5. Accuracy of listings
We moderate submissions but cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate or up to date. Prices, availability, and amenities may change without notice. Always confirm details directly with the space owner before booking.
6. Intellectual property
The Gatherly name, logo, and design are our property. Listing content (text and photos) remains the property of the submitter. By submitting, you confirm you hold the rights to any photos you upload.
7. Limitation of liability
Gatherly is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, we exclude all warranties and accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the directory.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Gatherly after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
